Yes - FTP auto-sync still works and we're not switching it off. We just don't recommend it any more.

With FTP, your terminal publishes your account statement to our server on a schedule (MT4: Tools > Options > Publisher, MT5: Tools > Options > FTP) and we import the new trades from it. EquityLog generates the server, login and password for you on the connect page (leave the FTP path blank - the page says so too).

The catch is that FTP sends your credentials and your statement unencrypted. That's exactly why MetaTrader Sync replaced it: the same automatic uploads, over HTTPS, with a token you can rotate or delete whenever you like.

If you're on FTP today nothing breaks. When you have five minutes, switch to MetaTrader Sync.
